Prevention featured Jennifer L. Solomon, MD, physiatrist at HSS, in an article about sleeping positions that could alleviate lower back pain.
Dr. Solomon explained that it’s important to sleep in a position that won’t aggravate any existing aches.
"The ideal positions are on your back with a pillow underneath your knees or on your side with a pillow in between your knees," she said.
