Tackling Brain Fog: Expert Advice for Clearer Thinking

Practical Pain Management featured Vinnidhy H. Dave, DO, director of Medical Pain Management at HSS, who addressed how to treat brain fog.

Dr. Dave noted that between 15 and 40 percent of patients with chronic pain could have brain fog.

To treat it, he explained that getting the pain better controlled and working with your doctor to find the right medications could help.

"The first thing I try to do is get the patient on a routine to sleep better at night," Dr. Dave added.

Additionally, he suggested adopting regular sleep and wake times.
