O, The Oprah Magazine—April 1, 2018

O, The Oprah Magazine featured HSS exercise physiologist Pamela Geisel MS, CSCS, in an article about how to become environmentally friendly while exercising.

According to the article, turning off the television on the cardio machine could save power and be beneficial for the body. Geisel explained that when you position your head to see the TV screen, you may throw off your alignment and potentially increase your injury risk.

This article appeared in the April 2018 print issue.
