A 'big step' for Didi Gregorius has Yankees feeling hopeful

New York Post featured HSS hand and upper extremity surgeon Michelle G. Carlson, MD, in an article about New York Yankees' Didi Gregorius, who suffered a torn cartilage in his right wrist and received a cortisone injection.

Dr. Carlson, who did not treat Gregorius, explained that cortisone could help with the inflammation.

"The best-case scenario is it doesn't bother [Gregorius] at all. But he could feel it when he rotates his hand or bends his wrist," Dr. Carlson noted.
