MSG—June 6, 2018

MSG hosted HSS sports medicine surgeon Frank A. Cordasco, MD, MS, live on-air at the Invesco Tennis Series to discuss his experience treating tennis players.

"Over the years I’ve had interactions with professional and elite tennis players. They’re just phenomenal athletes," said Dr. Cordasco.

Additionally, Dr. Cordasco explained common tennis injuries. "The majority of injuries tend to be chronic overuse as it relates to the upper extremity. The more acute injuries tend to occur in the lower extremity, [such as] ankle sprains, thigh injuries and abdominal strains," he said.

This aired during the June 6, 2018 broadcast.
