HSS Holds First Rheumatology Gala

The Rheumatologist reports that HSS hosted a Rheumatology Gala in May 2016. The event was held to increase awareness of HSS' leading research and treatment of rheumatic diseases.

With National Institutes of Health funding low these days, it is increasingly important to raise awareness of rheumatic diseases and their treatments. Any division could benefit from increasing awareness, said Mary K. Crow, MD, physician-in-chief and chair of rheumatology division at HSS.
