How Mindfulness Can Help Your Psoriatic Arthritis

Even patients who take medications for psoriatic arthritis may still experience bouts of pain and alternative therapies such as mindful medication may be helpful.

"While there's no strong scientific evidence that mindfulness meditation can help reduce pain in people with psoriatic arthritis, it may help reduce stress, which can trigger flares, and promote a greater sense of well-being," said Dalit Ashany, MD, rheumatologist at HSS.
