Hospital for Special Surgery Partners With 2nd Brazil Hospital

Hospital for Special Surgery has entered into a new partnership with a hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Under the four year agreement, HSS will provide consulting services to Hospital Alvorada, focusing on the orthopedic surgery department. The 232-bed general hospital dedicates an entire floor to orthopedic surgery and is part of the Amil network.
 
Educational programs will now be available to Hospital Alvorada staff through the HSS eAcademy, offering symposia, seminars, videos and continuing medical education courses online. There will also be special offerings developed for physicians, physical therapists and nurses affiliated with Amil hospitals.
