Healio Rheumatology—June 19, 2017
Healio Rheumatology reported the American College of Rheumatology and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons developed guidelines for management of antirheumatic medication for rheumatic patients undergoing total joint replacement.
Susan M. Goodman, MD, rheumatologist at HSS, was a co-principal investigator. She added, "our project brought together hip and knee replacement surgeons, rheumatologists and methodologists to determine optimal medical management through a group consensus process".
