Giants running back visits Long Island school as student receives 'Heart of a Giant' award

ABC 7 NY covers the 2015 Heart of a Giant Award surprise ceremony at Roosevelt High School in Long Island.

Senior Chukwuma Ukwu was recognized for his work ethic and passion, an honor so big that one of the New York Giants came home from their big win in Miami Monday night and went to the school to be a part of the fun.

The Heart of a Giant award is sponsored by USA Football in partnership with Hospital for Special Surgery and the New York Giants. For winning the award, the football team at Roosevelt High School will receive a $5,000 equipment grant.
