Will Beatty to Work out for Carolina Panthers, Source Says

Newsday reporter Tom Rock reports that free agent Will Beatty, who previously played as an offensive tackle of the New York Football Giants before injuring his left pectoral as well as tearing his right rotator cuff, will work out for the North Carolina Panthers.

According to the article, Frank A. Cordasco, MD, a sports medicine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, comments that, "He looks fabulous, he looks great...He's done very, very well and I think he'll contribute to a team." Dr. Cordasco adds in the article, "I don't anticipate a problem with either side unless he has a traumatic event."
