Kiplinger's Personal Finance shared several stories of adults undergoing joint replacement surgery and how it positively improved their lives. Orthopedic surgeon Steven B. Haas, MD at HSS was featured after performing successful knee replacement surgeries on patient Christopher Jorgensen.
Prior to the surgery, Jorgensen developed arthritis in both knees. Jorgensen officiated college lacrosse games but could not avoid pain while running. To stop living with pain, Jorgensen researched and chose Dr. Haas to perform knee replacement surgeries simultaneously. Jorgensen was able to successfully officiate a lacrosse game this past February.
