Marci A. Goolsby, MD, primary care sports medicine physician at HSS, is a guest on the inaugural episode of the 3 From The 7 podcast, which focuses on all things basketball in the New York area.
She discusses her past as a basketball player, injury prevention, recovery and more.
On recovery from injury, Dr. Goolsby notes: "Especially with that big injury, there is that fear of 'is this going to happen again'. Am I going to be able to perform at the same level as I did before? It can be very challenging."
