A Nation in Motion—May 19, 2016
In an informational video provided by A Nation in Motion, Daniel W. Green, MD, MS, FAAP, FACS, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, explains what patients should do if water accidentally gets in their glass plaster cast.
Dr. Green explains, "If you accidentally fall into a pool or dunk your cast into a bathtub, it's really important to get that cast taken off within 24 hours because the wet cotton will actually damage your skin."
