Active seniors, advancing technology herald age of specialty hospitals

Crain's Connecticut reports that two orthopedic specialty hospitals have opened in Connecticut, a place where an aging population wants to remain active.

HSS Orthopedics at Stamford Health joins the existing HSS Outpatient Center at Chelsea Piers Connecticut and the HSS-Stamford Health Sports Rehab facility as HSS facilities in the Stamford area.
