In an open letter featured on The Players' Tribune, Caris LeVert writes about his experience as a basketball player and why he has such a passion for the game.
Martin J. O’Malley, MD, a foot and ankle surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, is mentioned in the letter because of the surgery he performed when LaVert injured his foot. LaVert notes, "He's one of the best there is, the same doctor who operated on Kevin Durant’s foot last year."
