Hospital for Special Surgery recommends orthopedic surgeons provide sideline coverage for football games: 3 points

Becker's Orthopedic Review—October 27, 2017

Becker’s Orthopedic Review reported that HSS responded to a recent editorial published in Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, that stated that orthopedic surgeons should be removed from football sideline coverage.

HSS released a statement, emphasizing that "HSS physicians have been present at Super Bowl championships and Olympic victories. The orthopedic surgeons believe it's their responsibility to utilize their skills to care for athletes and lead efforts to improve sports safety."
