Dr. David Altchek performs successful surgery on Bucks rookie Jabari Parker

David Altchek, MD, performed a successful ACL surgery on Milwaukee Bucks rookie forward Jabari Parker on Monday, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.

Dr. Altchek was assisted in the surgery by Bucks' orthopedic physician Michael Gordon, MD, at the New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
 
Dr. Altchek also serves in the capacity of a medical director for the New York Mets and a consultant for the NBA at large. He has previously served as a medical director for the Association of Tennis Professions.
