Heel Slides



Purpose

  • Strengthens the muscles that bend your hip

Starting position

  • Lie on your back with your legs straight

Action

  • Gently slide your heel toward your buttock
  • Slide it back to the starting position

Tips

  • Your hip should not bend more than 45°
  • Do not sit up while performing this exercise
  • If very difficult, start with fewer repetitions
