Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation

HSS Rehabilitation plays an integral role in the multidisciplinary approach to patient care at Hospital for Special Surgery. Our physical and occupational therapists provide expert care and have developed a best-selling textbook on Postsurgical Rehabilitation Guidelines for Orthopedic Clinicians. In addition to Acute Care and Ambulatory Surgery Rehabilitation, we offer comprehensive outpatient treatment at the HSS campus and at several off-site locations, as well as performance and wellness services.

HSS Rehabilitation Network

The HSS Rehabilitation Network is a hospital-based network of recommended rehabilitation providers. The Network is a community focused, patient driven referral service for the continuation of outpatient therapy, addressing the needs of patients who cannot utilize the Hospital for their rehabilitation. With a growing membership of 150 practices throughout NY, NJ and CT and in Palm Beach County, Florida, the Network aims to provide patients with access to the highest level of rehabilitative care where it’s most convenient, close to their home or place of business.
