Dr. Barsoum completed residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in where he helped establish protocols for emergency airway management. He was awarded the Geza Kiss Regional Resident Award for excellence in Regional Anesthesiology. He completed fellowship training in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
