Ryan Simovitch, MD at HSS Florida

Dr. Ryan W. Simovitch is the Director of the Shoulder Division at HSS Florida and an orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex shoulder surgery. This includes arthroscopic and open procedures such as shoulder replacement, revision shoulder replacement, rotator cuff tear repair and tendon transfers.

With over 13 years in practice, Dr. Simovitch is an experienced shoulder surgeon who was an early adopter and innovator of the reverse shoulder replacement surgery in the United States. His extensive research and publications have led to new techniques, implants and methods to provide better outcomes for patients. An avid lecturer and educator, he presents worldwide to his peers and young surgeons, and is involved in multiple professional organizations like the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Dr. Simovitch cares for patients of all levels of abilities with shoulder conditions from sports injury, degenerative conditions or trauma. He is the Team Physician for both the Palm Beach Cardinals and Gulf Coast League Cardinals, and assists the St. Louis Cardinal players at the Jupiter training and rehab facility in Florida.
