Pilates can be defined in most simple terms as the art of strength, stretch and control. There are six guiding principles of the method: Breathing, Centering, Control, Concentration, Precision, and Flow of Movement. Through these introductory exercises, you will discover various ways to identify your core muscles and then learn how to access and strengthen them more efficiently. This third video in the series focuses on centering and the importance of shoulder girdle alignment to get the most out of each Pilates session.
