Myra is a medical student conducting a year of research in between her 3rd and 4th year of medical school. She attends Penn State College of Medicine and is planning on specializing in orthopaedic surgery. She received her BS in Molecular Cellular & Developmental Biology from Yale. Myra first came to the Department of Biomechanics through HSS’s Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship program in 2013. She returned to continue her work on osseointegration within porous coated total hip acetabular implants.
