Thomas Fraychineaud, BS

Thomas joined the Department of Biomechanics at HSS in the fall of 2018 after completing his third year of medical school at New York Medical College. He previously completed a BSE in biomechanical engineering at Stanford in 2013. His main focus of research involves biomechanical modeling of the knee. In particular, he is involved with projects investigating laxity of the knee before and after ACL reconstruction. Through collaboration with clinical faculty in the Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty services at HSS, he and his team develop meaningful research questions to solve key clinical problems and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
