Department of Biomechanics

Dan Choi, M.Eng

Design Engineer

Daniel Choi started in biomechanics as an undergraduate researcher for Professor Bartel's group investigating computational models of the upper extremity. He joined Hospital for Special Surgery in 2005 as a cooperative education student working on the cadaveric simulation of the glenohumeral joint. After receiving his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2008, Dan joined the Biomechanics research group focusing on projects related to the upper extremity and kinematic analysis. In 2010, Dan has moved to the Device Development department at Hospital for Special Surgery
