Nermala is a nurse practitioner at Hospital for Special Surgery for the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Service in New York City. She also served as an RN at HSS for eight years. As an RN, Nermala worked on the spinal unit where she cared for a variety of patients having simple to complex orthopedic surgeries. Nermala has interests in primary care and pain management.
Nermala has completed her BSN at Long Island University and MSN at Hunter College. She graduated from as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner from Hunter College. Nermala is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult nurse practitioner (ANP-BC).
During her spare time, Nermala enjoys helping others, reading articles, and spending time with her family.
