Michele Mangini-Vendel, DNP, ACNP-BC, CCRN, LNC, has 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and 17 years of experience as an acute care nurse practitioner.After graduating in the top of her class from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Michele practiced at several major medical centers in the area, gaining expertise in the field of nursing. She obtained her master’s degree from NYU and has worked with top medical professionals in world renowned institutions such as NYU Langone Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Recently, she achieved her doctor of nursing practice at University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Nursing. She was a nursing professor for both Columbia University School of Nursing and NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and currently practices at Hospital for Special Surgery in intensive care.
Michele is an expert in the field of critical and acute care medicine, transplant surgery, gastrointestinal medicine, and general surgery. She is proficient in performing and teaching numerous procedures.
Michele is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner and is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, American Nurses Association, The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
