Teresita Leynes, MSN, currently works as a nurse practitioner for Gregory Lutz, MD, with clinical privileges at Hospital for Special Surgery. She previously served as the Director of Interventional Radiology at Hospital for Special Surgery. In 1994, Tess started the minor procedures unit alongside Robert Hotchkiss, MD. The service gave birth to two major departments at HSS: the hand and foot center and interventional radiology nursing. Tess has 23 years of service at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Tess’ fields of interest include pain management and regenerative medicine.
She is a current member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners and The Nurse Practitioner Association New York State.
Tess obtained her BSN at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She earned her MSN from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
