Matthew is a physical therapist and athletic trainer at HSS Sports Rehabilitation at IMG Academy. Matthew will work in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team at IMG Academy Athletic and Personal Development Program to provide the highest quality of care to its student athletes, professional athletes and employees on campus. Matt’s experience includes 15 years of outpatient, orthopedic and sports medicine experience in various clinics and various roles.
Over his professional career, Matt has worked with patients and athletes of all ages and skill levels, from little leaguers to professionals and senior athletes. Matt simply loves to help people to move better. He utilizes a blended program of corrective exercise prescription and manual therapy. Among the manual therapies, Matt frequently uses soft tissue techniques including positional release, myofascial decompression (cupping), fascial movement taping and instrumented soft tissue applications (SASTM). He is an active member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and its Sports Physical Therapy sections.
