Tendonopathies of the Hip - Hip Conditions
Tendonopathies refer to disorders of the tendon. Tendons are the soft tissues that connect muscle to bones. There can be conditions in which the tendon is inflamed (tendonitis), has some degree of degeneration and tearing (tendonosis), or is completely torn. The majority of these conditions respond to nonoperative treatments with rest, NSAID’s and physical therapy.
