Amsterdam Nursing Home ("Amsterdam House") is a skilled nursing facility located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Through an agreement with Hospital for Special Surgery, restorative physical and occupational therapy services are provided by the HSS Rehabilitation Department.

Physical therapists evaluate adults and children to determine their seating and mobility needs to promote maximum independent function and comfortable support for sitting. A rehabilitation technology supplier, in conjunction with a physical therapist, assists in selecting, ordering and fitting of appropriate equipment such as manual and power wheelchairs, bath chairs, strollers and standing devices.
