Patient Registries

For nearly 150 years, Hospital for Special Surgery has pushed the boundaries of medicine with breakthrough research that has led to new and better approaches to treating musculoskeletal disease. Specifically, prospective, patient-centered outcome registries help us examine the long-term effects of disease and current treatments on our patients, and provide a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and socio-economic realities for those with musculoskeletal conditions treated at Hospital for Special Surgery.

With your participation, we can gather and examine invaluable information that will allow clinicians to not only learn more about the impact of musculoskeletal disease and treatment across different populations, but also to direct our research to find better ways to help our patients now and in the future.

Learn more about how HSS improves outcomes through the use of our patient registries.
