Description

As a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy,
graduate of HSS's Sports Physical Therapy Clinical Residency, and
Certified Athletic Trainer, Andrea has experience treating a variety of sports
and orthopedic injuries. Andrea has a special interest in treating spine, hip, foot and ankle injuries.

She also recognizes the benefits of hydrotherapy as an adjunct to land-based physical therapy and is a Certified Aquatic Therapist. Ultimately she believes in providing each patient with an individualized treatment plan and the tools necessary for long-term recovery and health.

Andrea also enjoys providing on-site physical therapy treatments for performing artists in a variety of on and off-Broadway shows, on-field NYC PSAL football game athletic training coverage, as well as treating soldiers in the United States Air Force Pararescue Unit on Long Island.

She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Certified Power Pilates® Beginner and Intermediate Mat Instructor, certified practitioner of the Graston Technique®, and is currently pursuing a manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Manual Therapy.
