New York State Assemblyman Jonathan L. Bing visited Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in August 2009 to present a proclamation for scoliosis awareness. He was joined by surgeons and patient advocates interested in raising awareness of the condition, which affects an estimated seven million people in the United States.
