New York Red Bulls midfielder Michael Bustamante underwent successful ACL surgery on his right knee on Wednesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
The procedure was done by Dr. Riley Williams III. Bustamante is expected to miss the remainder of the 2014 season. The second-year midfielder picked up the injury during a training session earlier this month.
