The Major League Soccer team announced the surgery on Wednesday, noting that Rojas would need three to four months to rehabilitate.
Rojas' surgery was performed by Dr. Riley Williams at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. The Venezuelan international was hurt in a game against New England on Sept. 18.
Rojas started 19 of 21 games this season, recording two goals and two assists.
