Do you have pain in your backside or leg? You might think the problem is your back, but the pain might actually be coming from a surprising place: your hips. WCBS-TV News 2 health reporter Dr. Max Gomez tells us about “referred pain,” which affected entertainer Melba Moore. Her HSS orthopedic surgeon, Geoffrey Westrich, M.D., explains the diagnosis that led to total hip replacement and a successful outcome that got Ms. Moore back on stage performing.
