Heidi Skolnik Named to Board of Trustees for National Osteoporosis Foundation

National Osteoporosis Foundation—Washington, D.C.—June 3, 2010   

The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) named Heidi Skolnik, MS, CDN, FACSM, as a new member to its Board of Trustees last month during its annual meeting.
 
Ms. Skolnik serves as Nutritionist at the Women's Sports Medicine Center at Hospital for Special Surgery and is a Sports Nutrition Consultant to the New York Knicks, the School of American Ballet, The Juilliard School and Fordham University and was with the New York Giants for 18 years. She is owner of Nutrition Conditioning, Inc., a nutrition consulting practice that helps individuals, teams and organizations achieve health and performance goals, serving the greater New York Metropolitan area.
 
Ms. Skolnik received a Bachelor of Arts in Planned Studies: Holistic Health-Dance Therapy, Exercise and Nutrition from Ithaca College, a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
