Harrison Ford isn't letting a broken foot slow him down.
The actor was seen out and about in London Sunday night, hobbling down a flight of stairs outside the city's posh 34 Restaurant wearing a prosthetic peg leg.
He’s using a hands-free crutch, according to Dr. John Kennedy, a foot and ankle specialist at Hospital for Special Surgery.
"It looks very unstable, but in fact it's a very short learning curve (and) people do very well with it," he said.
The device — whose most popular brands are iWalk and FlexLeg — is a better way to recover from below-the-knee injuries than standard crutches, which occupy both arms and can cause shoulder pain, Kennedy said. This crutch, which is strapped onto the thigh while the leg is bent at a right angle, allows Ford to keep using both his arms while wearing it.
