Hospital for Special Surgery hosts its kid-friendly Eighth Annual Big Apple Circus Benefit to support pediatric care and research. The day kicks off at 3:30 p.m. with face painting, juggling, a stilt walker, caricaturists and a photo booth, as well as food and drinks. At 4:30 p.m., guests see this year's Big Apple Circus show, called Metamorphosis, complete with trapeze artists, acrobats, camels, contortionists and a clown. The event is at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park at Amsterdam Avenue and West 62nd Street.
