Amukamara Not Concerned About Injury

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara doesn't think the groin injury he suffered in Saturday's preseason game will be a major problem. And while players and teams often say that even when it's not true, there are reasons to think Amukamara and the Giants dodged a bullet with this one.

Amukamara was at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan on Monday morning for tests on his groin. But those tests did not include an MRI, which is almost standard procedure for any potentially serious injury. The fact that the doctors didn't deem an MRI necessary was one of many factors behind Amukamara's optimism.
