The International Center at HSS is a valuable resource for international patients throughout the entire patient care process. We are here to assist you in getting the care and services you need, help ensure that any of your questions are answered, and that your logistical concerns are alleviated.
We schedule all physician appointments prior to your arrival. We then continue to schedule any additional appointments that may be needed during your stay. Our staff meets with you and your family while you are here and remains in constant contact before surgery in order to ensure that all questions and concerns are addressed. Our staff also acts as a liaison between you and your physician. We can also assist with your hotel and transportation needs upon request.
Our relationship with international patients does not end after the surgery. Our staff will continue to visit and speak with you and your family and communicate often with our physicians to address any issues that may arise post-operatively as well as any concerns you may have. Throughout your recovery process, our staff will regularly check on your progress and make sure you know where to go for physical therapy and other post-operative care. International Center staff will also continue to work with you to address any outstanding financial issues related to your care.
