Patients travel across oceans and continents to HSS for treatment; international fellows train here and return to their home countries with new skills and ideas; and our researchers collaborate with their peers from other global institutions searching for the answers to address musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases. Finally, we participate in knowledge transfer and global partnership efforts to share our experience with individuals and institutions abroad.
The HSS international impact reaches beyond these activities as well. From the Olympic Games to philanthropic endeavors in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the developing world, HSS physicians and staff makes a global impact on the people and communities they serve.
