Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP)

BMP is a protein naturally found in the human body that stimulates the formation of bone. Surgeons have found it to be very useful in inducing spinal fusion. Commercially available BMPs are manufactured using recombinant technologies in a laboratory without the use of human tissue.
