Scott Tucker started in medical research as an undergraduate student at Cornell University where he collaborated to improve prosthetic aortic valve implants. After receiving his B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell, he joined the Biomechanics Department at Hospital for Special Surgery in 2011. His main focus at HSS is collaborating with residents and fellows from all of the surgical services to help them learn more about biomechanics while furthering their research interests. He also conducts industry sponsored research and core mechanical testing.
