Stacey M. France, NP

Stacey France, DNP, NP, RN, AGPCNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement (ARJR) Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Stacey previously served as an advanced practice nurse with the Complex Clinical Navigator team at HSS and trained at Columbia University focusing on the nursing model of care. With this team, she worked autonomously and in collaboration with health care professionals and other individuals throughout the continuum of care to prevent re-admission rates with a stress on disease prevention.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Stacey was a registered nurse at HSS serving as a CN I on 7 East and assumed charge nurse duties on 7 East, as well as in the Stepdown/OSCU unit at HSS. She also served as a preceptor to nursing students, nurse practitioner students, and nurse practitioners entering the field. While completing her studies at New York University, her clinical rotations included training in the stroke code team at Maimonides Health Care Center and at primary care setting practices.

Stacey is a current member of The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Stacey obtained her BSN from College of New Rochelle, and her MSN from New York University. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from City University of New York, Hunter College, and she is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC) from the ANCC.

Stacey enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling to new places
