As a resident, it is mandatory that you live in Hospital housing, which the Hospital will provide to you. You may also apply for garage space. Housing and garage facilities for residents and their families are within walking distance of the hospital.
Golf and Tennis Day
Take a day off to join attendings, residents and fellows for outdoor sports and dinner at a private estate – transportation will be provided. Significant Others Dinner
HSS treats your spouses or significant others to an elegant dinner, organized by the Chief Residents’ “others.” They get to meet one another, and often form long-lasting friendships. Alumni Association Cocktail Reception, Rockefeller University

Every year, the Residents and Fellows are invited to the famous skating rink at Rockefeller Center for a fun evening. There is a catered dinner and skating.

Residents attending the conference in Chicago, IL are encouraged to join HSS attendings and alumni for a great evening. Caspary Lodge
This Tudor estate in upstate New York was donated to HSS as a retreat, primarily for residents and fellows. Bring your family and friends and enjoy one of the three houses available. There is a very low fee to visit. Enjoy the pool, tennis court, and stunning view of the Catskill mountains.
